Peter Fiore, 90, entered into rest on June 29, 2017 in Stockton, CA. He was born on September 8, 1926 in Oakland, CA.
   He is preceded in death by his parents Fortunato and Catherina Fiore, daughter Geri Fiore and his brother Frank Fiore.
   Mr. Fiore is survived by his children, Marie Fiore, Theresa Fiore, Peter Fiore, Julie Figone and Sarah Ayala. He was blessed by four grandchildren, Christopher Spence, Joseph Figone, Mary Figone and Kristen Cabrera.
   Pete was a lifetime resident of Manteca graduating from Manteca High School in 1944. Honorably discharged, Pete proudly served his country through the United States Navy. He made his career in plumbing for over 43 years working for the family business, Center Plumbing. He was a member of the Plumbers Union and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
  A reserved man, Pete enjoyed fishing and attending swap meets. He was an avid Giants fan and enjoyed car racing. Being a strong-willed Italian, Pete was proud of his heritage and has traveled to Italy twice to visit family and friends. Pete will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
  P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Fiore family. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 
1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a rosary/vigil service at 7:00 p.m. both held at P.L .Fry & Son Chapel, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 525 E. North St., Manteca. He will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, 17871 S. Carrolton Rd., Escalon, CA. An online guest book is available for condolences to the family at www.plfryandson.com
