Quantrill leads Lake Elsinore to win over Stockton

LAKE ELSINORE, (AP) — Cal Quantrill allowed just four hits over six innings, leading the Lake Elsinore Storm over the Stockton Ports in a 5-0 win on Tuesday.
Quantrill struck out five and walked two.
Lake Elsinore scored one run in the seventh on an RBI single by Ty France. The Storm scored again in the eighth inning, when they scored four runs, including a two-run single by Austin Allen.
Zech Lemond (1-1) got the win with two innings of scoreless relief while Jared Lyons (1-1) took the loss in the California League game.
The Ports were held off the scoreboard for the fifth time this season, while the Storm’s staff recorded their third shutout of the year.
