Jr Buffs varsity falls to Ceres

Dallas Kaleimamahu hit Dylan DePrater for the lone Manteca Jr. Buffaloes varsity touchdown in a 42-8 Cen-Cal loss to the Ceres Seahawks on Saturday at Guss Schmiedt Field.
Kaleimamahu had 80 yards passing, DePrater (10 tackles) 60 yards receiving and Francisco Ramirez ran for 15 yards.

Junior varsity
Manteca Jr. Buffaloes 24,
Ceres Seahawks 0
Larell Fountain ran for one touchdown and tallied another on a punt return for the Jr. Buffaloes.
Fountain had 10 carries for 80 yards with Skyler Lipsett (five carries, 25 yards) and Colton Stonum (five carries, 35 yards) each scoring one touchdown. Ricardo Villalvazo added 30 yards on five carries.
Stonum had eight tackles, Fountain five, and Nainoa Reyes and Cassius Hill added three stops each.

Peewee
Ceres Seahawks 14, Manteca Jr. Buffaloes 12
Quinn Martinez scored the two Jr. Buffaloes touchdowns.
Martinez had 15 carries, Gage Pheifer had 60 yards on eight carries and Noah Navarro pulled in two receptions for 25 yards.
Maddox Melendez made an interception for Manteca, Maddox Cardoza tallied four tackles and Jose Rios three.

Rookie
(No score kept at this level)
Madden Melendez ran for one Jr. Buffaloes touchdown and made a scoring catch for another.
Melendez had three carries for 58 yards and the 18-yard touchdown catch. Brody Carabello had three carries for 44 yards and had 33 yards passing with the scoring throw to Melendez. Andrew Salmeron added a touchdown with 27 yards on two carries and DeAnthony Hackett had five carries on 80 yards.
Brody Carabello led the Manteca defense with six tackles. De Anthony Hackett added five stops, Madden Melendez four, Devin Fielder three and Eshon Jackson two.
