Lathrop’s Calayan graduates from FPU

LATHROP – Czarina Calayan of Lathrop, was among about 340 graduates at the Fresno Pacific University’s spring commencement, which took place at 7 p.m. in Chukchansi Park (Grizzlies Stadium) in downtown Fresno. Graduates came from the traditional undergraduate, bachelor’s degree completion and master’s degree programs, including those of Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary.

Calayan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology- Human Health Emphasis. She graduated Magna Cum Laude (with high honors) and with Senior Highest Honors.

The commencement address was by Randy White, D.Min., executive director of the Center for Community Transformation at FPBS and associate professor of community transformation at FPU. Commencement can be viewed free online at fpu.edu/live
