Sierra could not get its offense on track Thursday in a 41-0 Valley Oak League freshman loss to Oakdale at Daniel Teicheira Memorial Stadium.

Sebastian Davis made seven tackles for the Timberwolves and Jacob Lopez made an interception.

 

East Union 32, Sonora 0

The Lancers scored all of their points in the first half of the non-league contest at Dino Cunial Field.

East Union’s Fernando Ambriz, Frank Alvarez, Justin Mount, Erick Miramontes, and Daniel Peters paved the way for the Lancers to run for 326 yards. Justin Mount, Frank Alvarez, Daniel Peters, Cathan Sharp and Josh Rezendez led the defensive effort for East Union to limit the Wildcats offense to 64 yards.

Anthony Corrales scored three touchdowns on a pair of 1-yard runs and a 60-yard run. Christian Perez covered a Lancers fumble in the end zone for a touchdown and Christian Perez added a 55-yard scoring run.  

East Union’s Jesus Gomez was 4 of 6 passing for 83 yards.
