When is almost new as good as new?
Answer: When it comes to purchasing a certified-used car at Cabral Chrysler Jeep Dodge Suzuki.
The Manteca dealership at 1145 W. Yosemite Ave. is currently featuring several such vehicles, including a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2010 Dodge Charger.
Both were pre-owned but carry the remainder of the Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep manufacturer three-year / 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and the seven-year / 100,000-mile power train warranty.
“Anytime you buy a certified-used it comes with big savings,” said Cliff Rogers, internet sales manager. “You also get all of the benefits as with the new cars.”
Both vehicles, on record, had one owner each but were properly maintained and never involved in accidents.
“These were among the best of the best,” Rogers said on Wednesday.
The Grand Cherokee is a mid-sized SUV produced by the Jeep division of Chrysler and dates back to 1983 to the American Motor days.
But the 4X4 Laredo, according to Rogers, is considered one of the “nicest Jeep has ever produced.”
The Grand Cherokee is equipped with a 360 horsepower Hemi V8 engine – an optional feature – along with keyless entry, stability control with anti-roll, hill-start assist, side curtain airbags (both rows), active head restraints, power driver’s seat, fog lamps, and 17-inch aluminum wheels.
The Dodge Charger harkens back to the days of the American muscle cars.
The SXT model is rear-wheel / all-wheel drive equipped with a 3.5-liter High Outback V-6 engine, generating 250 horsepower. The Charger gets an estimated 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
