More Ecologic jobs in Manteca

Ecologic Brands  —  the Oakland-based paper bottle maker that opened a manufacturing plant last year in the Manteca Industrial Park — is now making paper bottles for  Healdsburg winemaker Truett-Hurst’s Paperboy Wines label. The recyclable wine bottles are made from compressed recycled cardboard formed into the shape of a standard Bordeaux wine bottle and are 85 percent lighter than traditional glass bottles.

Ecologic Brands employ about 30 people currently in Manteca with plans to double that by year’s end.

Ecologic has manufactured and shipped millions of bottles to 15 brand partners around the world.
