Manteca Ford will play host to a pair of events on Saturday, May 14.
For starters, the Drive One 4 UR Schools will take place at East Union High, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It’s there that Phil Waterford’s Manteca Ford & Exotic High Line will feature a full display of new Ford vehicles for folks to test drive.
“We will donate up to $6,000 / $20 for every test drive,” said Waterford in his recent press release. “With recent budget cuts and schools scrambling for money, this event will provide some funds that can make a difference for our students, high school and community.”
Later that day, “Paty’s Zumbathon” will take place at the dealership located at 555 N. Main St., Manteca, from 4 to 6 p.m.
The benefit is to help the family of Annaliy Lopez, an 18-month-old toddler from Keyes who was struck and killed by a trailer while in the driveway of her home last month.
“I’ve never met the Lopez family but my thoughts and prayers are with them as well as the person that struck this precious child,” Waterford said.
Donations will be accepted to assist the family during these tough times.
“Paty’s Zumbathon” will also include a live DJ, refreshments, and water.
