TRACY - Emeritus at Heritage Place is celebrating the grand opening of its newly renovated facility designed for seniors to enjoy a healthy lifestyle and living option.

It takes place Thursday, Feb. 28, 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. 355 W. Grant Line Road in Tracy.

In an assisted living environment, seniors can enjoy comfort and independence similar to living at home coupled with as much or as little daily assistance as they need. Assisted living is an ideal choice for seniors who are not ready for a nursing home, but do need a little help with daily activities. It provides enhanced independence, comfort, security, and companionship for residents, and real peace of mind for their families.

Emeritus at Heritage Place features 131 resident units, including studios, and one- and two-bedroom apartments. Residents can also use a common TV room, living room, and an activities room.

Homemade meals will be served restaurant-style, three times a day in the spacious dining room. Other community amenities include a wellness center and a beauty salon/barber shop.

Caring staff will assist residents with medication and help with daily bathing, dressing and grooming. The community also offers linen and laundry services, plans special activities for its residents, and arranges for transportation to and from appointments.

“We look forward to continuing to serve our community, current residents and welcoming new residents,” said Richard Flynn, Sr. Executive Director.

Emeritus at Heritage Place is an Emeritus Senior Living Community, a national provider of assisted living and Alzheimer's and related dementia care services to seniors. Emeritus is one of the largest and most experienced operators of freestanding assisted living communities located throughout the United States.
