TRACY – Brand new at Tracy Nissan is the second-generation Versa that combines the look of a small car and the comforts of a luxury sedan.

Powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine – rated 109 horsepower with 6,000 rpm and 107 lb-ft torque at 4,400 torque – featuring the Nissan Dual Injector System fuel injection, the Versa sedan can seat five comfortably while getting an estimated 30 miles per gallon city, 38 mpg highway, thanks in part to the new version Xtronic CVT used to enhance fuel efficiency.

The Versa 1.6 S has more rear leg room when compared to luxury sedans such as the Lexus LS 460, BMW 5 Series, and the Mercedes Benz E-Class.

A step up is the Versa 1.6 SL that comes equipped with plenty of connectivity features such as the Bluetooth hands-free phone system, Nissan navigation system, XM Satellite Radio, and iPod and USB interface.

The exterior of the 2012 model is sophisticated with improved aerodynamic features. The front grille is that of the new Nissan signature design coupled with the jewel-like headlights.

As for safety features, the Versa comes with Nissan’s Advanced Air Bag System with the dual-stage front supplemental air bags, driver / front passenger front and side impact air bags, child rear door locks, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Vehicle Dynamic Control, and Traction Control System, to name a few.

The 2012 Versa has been deemed by one Nissan higher up as the “Big Small Car.”
