For years, the Jeep Wrangler boasted the highest resale value in its segment.

The 2012 special edition Rubicon 4x4 continues to be that and much more.

For starters, this Jeep joined forces with the popular Activision video game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Included are MW3 graphics found on the front seats, fenders, and spare tire covers.

The Call of Duty Wranglers currently on display at Cabral Motors, 1145 W. Yosemite Ave., Manteca, come in black or silver while sporting 18-inch cast aluminum semi-gloss black wheels.

Under the special sculpted hood design feature is a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with 385 horsepower and 260 lb. ft. torque.

This Jeep is available in a five-speed automatic transmission or the standard 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive, synchronized in all gears, and a multi-rail shift system.

Wrangler’s standard radio with MP3 auxiliary, input jacks, and six-speaker audio system – try two tweeters and four 6.5-inch speakers (a premium sound system featuring a 368-watt amplifier is also available).

A reversible cargo mat protects the carpet. A storage bin can be found beneath the Wrangler’s rear floor. Marty Steves at Cabral Motors pointed at the floor’s drain plug.

“You can hose down the dirt (inside the Jeep) and let the water drain out,” he said.

The seats are McKinley vinyl / leather with front head restraints, silver accent stitching, and silver painted instrumented cluster rings.

The Call of Duty Wrangler has the same Jeep soul.

It’s still the only 4x4 convertible on the market.

The Wrangler was voted Best-in-Class in approach / departure angle, maneuverability, and ground clearance.

Four Wheeler Magazine tabbed the Rubicon “The Best 4x4 Vehicle of the Decade.”
