The Relief Society of the Manteca Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints accepted the challenge to “Come Unto Christ” through their talents and goals. A gathering last Saturday at the Northland Road stake house featured women from Manteca, Lathrop, Tracy, and Ripon who participated with artwork, poetry, quilting, music, and personal goals. They also had a service project to collect socks to give aid to others when natural disasters occur the world. The socks will be shipped to Salt Lake City and then shipped when a need arises.
