UNITED LUTHERAN: Join us Sunday, October 30, for the traditional service at 8 a.m. and/ or the contemporary service at 10:30 a.m. This Sunday’s sermon title is “Here We Stand, Or Do We?” Nursery care is available for children 6 months to 6 years old. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m. On Wednesdays we have a Divine Communion Worship Service at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. :  This Sunday at Calvary we continue the study on the book of Matthew with “The Path to the Cross” using scripture references from Matthew 26:36-75.

Everyone is welcome to join us every Thursday to Pray 4 Manteca. This weekly prayer group is open to anyone. It’s held each Thursday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in Modular Room 401. Its duration is one hour but is also designed for those who may only be able to stay for ten minutes. It gives people an opportunity to stop and call on God for the challenges they face in their respective areas of life and work.

: Come get involved this week at The Place of Refuge. We’ll see you at 485 Button Avenue this Sunday at 10 a.m. Learn how God wants to use you to make a difference in others’ lives as Pastor Mike continues the theme of “Finding Your Gift for Service.” Don’t miss out on the purpose and fulfillment you were created for. Childcare will be available for ages infant through kindergarten, and Merge Kids’ Ministries will be planning fun and an age-appropriate Bible lesson for children in first through sixth grade. Girlfriends Unlimited Bible study meets Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. here on campus at He-Brews Café. Ladies, come connect, belong, laugh and learn with us. Men, join us Wednesday evening at 6 for food and fellowship, then HonorBound Men’s Bible Study at 6:30 p.m. We’re also excited to offer Collide Network for junior high and high school students, a Spanish-language Bible study, and AWANA for children 2 years through 6th grade on Wednesday evenings at 6:30. FIRST BAPTIST: Bible Land Festival: “Walking through the Bible”, Monday, October 31st, 6 to 8 p.m. Need a fun and safe alternative to trick-or-treating? Need a little more excitement than dragging your kids around strange neighborhoods? Then join us for a great night of relaxation and fun. We are welcoming all children from kindergarten through 8th grade (older brothers and sisters are welcome – younger children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.) All activities will be moved inside if the weather is cold or wet, so don’t worry, we will still be running. Why come to visit us?

There will be a hayride, 2 bounce houses, and carnival-type game booths, such as carpet ball maze, cup cake walk, et. Come by to check them out!
