PRESBYTERIAN: All are welcome this Sunday at Manteca Presbyterian Church for the 10 a.m. worship service. Anne Talcott will lead the Praise Team in our opening songs and direct the choir. Come hear Pastor Dave Warner’s sermon titled, “A Drop in the Bucket.” A drop of what? Our worship service is followed by a time of refreshments. Come join the fellowship. CALVARY COMMUNITY: This Sunday at Calvary we continue the study on the book of Matthew with “Jesus on the Cross,” using scripture references from Matthew 27:39-66.

Everyone is welcome to join us every Thursday to Pray 4 Manteca. This weekly prayer group opens to anyone. It’s held each Thursday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in Modular Room 401. Its duration is one hour but is also designed for those who may only be able to stay for ten minutes. It gives people an opportunity to stop and call on God for the challenges they face in their respective areas of life and work.

PLACE OF REFUGE: We’re looking forward to a great Sunday at The Place of Refuge. Corporate worship begins at 10 a.m. at 486 Button Ave.; come a few minutes early and enjoy a hot latte or mocha at HeBrews Café. Pastor Mike’s series “Finding Your Gift for Service” will challenge you to find and use your gifts to the glory of God. Girlfriends’ Bible Study meets in the lobby Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. Ladies, join us for fun, friendship and encouragement.

We’re honored to welcome nationally known worship leader Amber Brooks for a combined worship night at Christian Worship Center at 786 Button Ave. this Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. All adult classes and Collide Network will be meeting at CWC. Don’t miss it. Admission is free and open to everyone. Offerings to support Amber Brooks ministry will be accepted. AWANA classes will still meet at The Place of Refuge for children 2 years old through 6th grade.
