CALVARY COMMUNITY: Please join us this Sunday for our continuing series, “Looking in the Mirror: What Do We Do?” with Part 9, “We Understand What’s Real.” This message from Ephesians 6:10-17 captures the theme of putting on the armor of God and understanding our enemy.

Calvary offers four Sunday services at 8:30, 9:45, 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. with children’s programs running at parallel times. Sign language is offered at the 9:45 a.m. service at the front left side of the Worship Center.

FIRST BAPTIST: Pastor Theo Pope will bring the message during our 10:30 a.m. worship service. You are invited to join us. Our Sundays begin with Sunday school at 9 a.m. and there are a variety of classes. Pastor David Halla has a Sunday school class titled. “The World of Error.” Due to an adult meeting at 9 a.m., there will be no adult classes tomorrow. We have childcare for infants through 4 years old. One of our Bible studies is on Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Keenager classroom (studying the Baptist Faith and Message.)

Our College Career Class meet at 6 p.m. for a meal and then have Bible study. The adults are studying the book of Revelation on Thursdays at 7 p.m. Saturdays at 9 a.m. is when the men meet for prayer. On the 3rd Saturday of the month, the men meet at 7:30 a.m. for a Men’s Breakfast and Bible study. Call the church office for the locations. We welcome you to join us for our Bible studies and prayer time.

The food and clothing ministry is on Sundays at 12:15 p.m. (after our morning service.) If you are in need of food and/or clothing please call the church to make an appointment.

A representative of the Gideons will be sharing about their ministry at our church on Sunday, Oct. 25 during our 10:30 worship service.

“The Life of Jesus” is the theme of this year’s Bible Land Festival (alternative to Halloween) to be held on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at our church. There will be game booths, a bounce house, Bible stories, food, etc. There is no charge for admission. There is a suggested donation of $2 for the food (hot dogs, nachos, pumpkin pie, cake, hot chocolate and hot apple cider.) There will be water, coffee, and punch available for everyone. This is for toddlers to children in 6th grade. Younger children may attend if accompanied by an adult.

The “Blackwood Gospel Quarter” is coming to our church on Friday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. If you like Southern Gospel Music you will enjoy them. More information will be available soon.

CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY
: The Sunday Pastor Scott Hoag will be sharing the second part of his new sermon series called, “Discerning the Voice of God.” The title of this week’s message is “How God Talks to You.” The service time is 10 a.m. Nursery, preschool, and children’s church are provided. MANTECA PRESBYTERIAN: The Manteca Presbyterian Church for Pastor Wendy Warner’s sermon “Ticked-Off Disciples.” Music minister Anne Talcott will be leading the praise team at the beginning of the servcie as well as directing the choir in the anthem “Here I AM To Worship.” You are also invited to stay for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. ST. PAUL’S UNITED
: St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will worship this Sunday at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary located at 910 East North Street. This Sunday Pastor Brandon Austin will be preaching a sermon titled “Pastor Perfect” using I Corinthians 1:10-25. Lisa Brown will lead the younger children in children’s church and nursery care is provided in a well-equipped room during the worship services. At 9 a.m. there are classes for all ages.

After morning worship and Coffee Fellowship there will be a New Member Orientation class with Pastor Brandon from noon to 1 p.m. in the Fireside Room. Anyone is welcome to attend who wishes to join the church or re-affirm their faith.

Sunday afternoons from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Salsa Dance lessons are being held in the church Fellowship Hall taught by Pastor Brandon Austin. All adults 18 and over are welcome to join us with or without a dance partner. A donation of $5 per lesson is appreciated.  Please wear shoes with non-grip soles and tie-up laces.  

Our mid-week Wednesday Nite Lite begins at 6 p.m. with a potluck meal. At 6:30 we begin worship with singing, scripture, a message and prayer led by Pastor Brandon Austin followed by Faith Building and Interactive Learning at 7 p.m.
