PRESBYTERIAN: Please join Manteca Presbyterian Church this Sunday for Pastor Dave Warner’s sermon “Freedom in Dependence.” Music minister Anne Talcott will be leading the Praise Team at the beginning of the service as well as directing the choir in the anthem, “Hymn to Freedom.” We would like to invite you to stay and join us for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY: This Sunday, Pastor Scott Hoag will begin a new sermon series called “Life Giving.” Over the next 3 weeks, we will learn the importance of allowing the Holy Spirit to empower our lives. CALVARY COMMUNITY: This Sunday at Calvary we begin a fresh, new series entitled “The Great Emancipation — Freedom in Christ” with Part 1, “Why Me? Why Now?” Scripture references from Romans 5:1-11 tell us to rejoice because we can have freedom in Christ!

Calvary offers four Sunday services at 8:30, 9:45 and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. with children’s programs running at parallel times (6 p.m. Pre-School and Nursery only.) Sign language is offered at the 9:45 a.m. service at the front left side of the Worship Center.

FIRST BAPTIST:  We invite you to join us Sunday for our 10:30 a.m. Worship Service. Pastor Theo Pope will bring the message, David Skrimager Sr. will lead the music and Joyce Bennett will read to the children some more of the story about a boy named Christian trying to reach the Celestial City. We will observe the Lord’s Supper during our service. Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. and there are classes for all ages. Pastor David Halla has started a new Sunday school class titled, “The world of Error.” We have nursery care for children (infants to 4 years old.) Immediately following our service, church members are encouraged to stay for lunch (bring food to share), fellowship with each other and then we will have our monthly business meeting.
Our Bible studies are on Sundays at 5 p.m. in the Keenager classroom (studying the Baptist Faith & Message), our College/Career class meet Tuesdays at 6 a.m. at a home (studying Acts) and adults meet on Thursdays at 7 p.m. at a home (studying Acts.)

Our food and clothes ministry are on Sundays at 12:15 p.m. (after our morning service.) If you are in need of food or clothing, please call the church 823-1781 and make an appointment.
