PRESBYTERIAN: Please join Manteca Presbyterian Church this Sunday at 10 a.m. for Pastor Wendy Warner’s sermon “The Angel’s Message of Proclamation.” Music Minister Anne Talcott, will be leading the Praise Team at the beginning of the service as well as directing the choir in the anthem. “He is the Light That Shines” and Bell Choir in “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.” We would like to invite you to stay and join us for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY: “Miracle on 120 East.” At Cornerstone we believe that miracles still happen! What better time to be reminded of that than at Christmas time. We invite you to join us this week for “The Miracle of Christmas.” We will be having special music, drama, and testimonies all wrapped around an inspirational message. CALVARY COMMUNITY: This Sunday at Calvary Pastor Dan Angove will continue his message series “Deceived” with “The Truth About Worry” based on scripture from Matthew and other New Testament passages. Please join us as we are encouraged from God’s word.

Calvary offers Sunday morning services at 8:30, 9:45 and 11 a.m. A non-traditional service with progressive music and media, relational settings, multiple teachers, and opportunities for individual expression is offered at 6 p.m. Children’s programs run concurrently with all services.

UNITED LUTHERAN: Join us Sunday, Dec. 20, for the traditional service at 8 a.m. and/or the contemporary service at 10:30 a.m. Communion will be served at both services. This Sunday’s sermon title is “A Merry Tender Christmas.” Join us for our Christmas Eve services, 5 p.m. Contemporary service, 7 p.m. Traditional service, and 10 p.m. Communion service. Nursery care is available for children 6 months to 6 years old. Wednesday nights we have dollar dinners at 5:45 p.m. followed by a Divine Worship service at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Sunday school, youth activities and Bible studies are at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings. FIRST BAPTIST: “He came not to a throne, but to a Manger. He lived not as a King, but as a Servant. He chose not a Kingdom, but a Cross. He gave not just a little, but everything. “May the Lord’s great love bless you this Christmas! Our Sundays begin with Sunday school at 9 a.m. and there are a variety of classes. Pastor David Halla has a Sunday school class titled, “The World of Error.” This Sunday will be our Christmas service at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Theo Pope will bring the message, the congregation will sing Christmas hymns, and an ensemble will bring the special music. We have childcare for infants through 4 years old. Another Bible study is on Sundays, at 5 p.m. in the Keenager classroom (studying the Baptist Faith and Message.) We invite you to join us!

The church office will be closed Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25. If you should have any needs, you may leave a message and your call will be returned Monday, December 28.

Our College/Career Class meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays for a meal and then have Bible study. The adults are studying the book of Revelation on Thursdays at 7 p.m. Saturdays at 9 a.m. is when the men meet for prayer. On the 3rd Saturday of the month, the men meet at 7:30 a.m. for a Men’s Breakfast and Bible study. Call the church office for the locations. We welcome you to join us for our Bible studies and Prayer time.

The food and clothing ministry is on Sundays at 12:15 p.m. (after our morning service.) If you are in need of food and/or clothing, please call the church to make an appointment.

St. Paul’s United Methodist: St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will worship this Sunday at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary located at 910 East North Street. This week is the Fourth Sunday of Advent and Pastor Brandon Austin will preaching a sermon entitled “What God Gave Santa” using John 3:16 - 17. Lisa Brown will lead the younger children in children’s church and nursery care is provided in a well-equipped room during the worship services.  At 9 a.m. there are classes for all ages.

Our mid-week Wednesday Nite Lite begins at 6 p.m. with a potluck meal.   At 6:30 we begin worship with singing, scripture, a message and prayer led by Pastor Brandon Austin followed by Faith Building and Interactive Learning at 7 p.m.
