PRESBYTERIAN: Please join Manteca Presbyterian Church this Sunday at 10 a.m. for guest Pastor Lee Helm’s sermon “The Game Plan.” Music Minister Anne Talcott will be leading the Praise Team at the beginning of the service as well as directing the choir in the anthem, “I Heard the Voice of Jesus.” We would like to invite you to stay and join us for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. UNITED LUTHERAN: Join us Sunday, February 14 for the traditional service at 8 a.m. and/ or the contemporary service at 10:30 a.m. This Sunday’s sermon title is “The Banner Over Us.” Nursery care is available for children 6 months to 6 years old. Next Wednesday, Feb. 17, is Ash Wednesday and we will have a communion Service at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Sunday school, youth activities and Bible studies are at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings. CALVARY COMMUNITY: This Sunday at Calvary we begin a new four week series, “Back to the Basics” with Part 1, “How Can We Hear God Speak to Us?” This week’s scripture reference is the Parable of the Seed from Luke 8:4-15.

Calvary offers three Sunday services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. with children’s programs at parallel times.

CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY
: Join us Sunday for a special Valentine message called “Our Greatest Relationship.” Our service time is 10 a.m. Nursery, preschool and Children’s Church are provided. Also join us for our new Wednesday evening 59 minute service called “The Blitz.” “The Blizt” is designed for adults who want to be encouraged during the week with a plan from God’s word. The service includes a life-building message from Pastor Scott Hoag, the Play of the Week for families and uplifting music that will build your faith. We also offer Royal Rangers and MPact Girl’s club for kids — junior high and high school. It all starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 7:29 p.m. We are located at 17900 Comconex Road. FIRST BAPTIST
: “Christian History Made Easy” is the new Bible study that began last Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Keenagers’ cassroom. This is a 13 week study. Church history is not about names, dates, and facts. It is about the flesh and blood people of God and life and death issues that have shaped their struggles and joys for two thousand years. “Christian History Made Easy” makes this story come alive.

Sundays begin with Sunday school at 9 a.m. and there are a variety of classes. Pastor David Halla has a Sunday school class titled, “The World of Error.” We have child care for infants through 4 years old. Pastor Theo Pope will bring the message Sunday during our 10:30 a.m. Morning Worship Service. You are invited to join us!

Our College/Career Class meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays for a meal and then have Bible study. The adults are studying the book of Revelation on Thursdays at 7 p.m. Saturdays at 9 a.m. is when the men meet for prayer. On the 3rd Saturday of the month, the men meet at 7:30 a.m. for a Men’s Breakfast and Bible study. Call the church office for the locations. We welcome you to join us for our Bible studies and prayer time.

The food ministry is on Sundays at 12:15 p.m. (after our morning service.) If you are in need of food, please call the church to make an appointment.

ST. PAUL’S UNITED METHODIST: St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will worship this Sunday at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary located at 910 East North Street.

This Sunday Pastor Brandon Austin will be preaching a sermon entitled “With All Your Heart” using Luke 10:27a. Lisa Brown will lead the younger children in children’s church and nursery care is provided during the worship services.  

At 9a.m. there are classes for all ages. Wednesday, Feb. 17, is Ash Wednesday and we will begin with a pancake supper at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall, followed by a Labyrinth Walk at 6 p.m. and Ash Wednesday worship service at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
