PRESBYTERIAN: Please join Manteca Presbyterian Church this Sunday at 10 a.m. for Pastor Wendy Warner’s sermon “What’s in a Name...The Light of the World.” Music Minister Anne Talcott will be leading the Praise Team at the beginning of the service as well as directing the choir in the anthem, “Shelter Me.” We would like to invite you to stay and join us for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. CALVARY COMMUNITY: This Sunday at Calvary we continue a four week series, “Back to the Basics” with art 3, “What is God’s Will?” This week’s scripture reference from Ephesians 5:15-17 cautions us not to be foolish; but to understand what the Lord’s will is.

Calvary offers Sunday morning services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. A non-traditional service with progressive music and media, relational settings, multiple teachers, and opportunities for individual expression is offered at 6 p.m. Children’s programs run concurrently with all services.

CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY: This Sunday Pastor Scott Hoag will be starting a new sermon series called “ivalue.” The title of this week’s message is “ivalue salvation.” Our service time is 10 a.m. Nursery, preschool and Children’s Church are provided. Also, join us for our new Wednesday evening 59 minute service called “The Blitz.” The Blitz is designed for adults who want to be encouraged during the week with a plan from God’s word. The service includes a life-building message from Pastor Scott Hoag, the Play of the Week for families and uplifting music that will build your faith. We also offer Royal Rangers and MPact Girl’s club for kids, Junior High and high school. It all starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 7:29 p.m. We are located at 17900 Comconex Road. FIRST BAPTIST: Sundays begin with Sunday School at 9 a.m. There are classes for all ages. Pastor David Halla has an adult (teen and college age too) class titled, “The World of Error.” We have childcare for infants through 4 years old. Pastor Theo Pope will bring the message Sunday during our 10:30 a.m. morning worship service. You are invited to join us! “Christian History Made Easy” is a 13 week study that is held in the Keenagers’ classroom. Church history is not about names, dates, and facts. It is about the flesh and blood people of God and life and death issues that have shaped their struggles and joys for two thousand years. “Christian History Made Easy” makes this story come alive.

Our College/Career Class meets at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays for a meal and then has Bible study. The adults are studying the book of Revelation on Thursdays at 7 p.m. Saturdays at 9 a.m. is when the men meet for Prayer on the 3rd Saturday of the month, the men meet at 7:30 a.m. for a Men’s Breakfast and Bible study. Call the church office for the locations. We welcome you to join us for our Bible studies and prayer time.

The food ministry is only on Sundays at 12:15 p.m. (after our morning service) and you must make an appointment. Please call the church office early in the week to schedule an appointment.
