PRESBYTERIAN: Please join Manteca Presbyterian Church this Sunday at 10 a.m. for Pastor Dave Warner’s sermon, “What’s in a Name...The Gate of the Sheep.” Music Minister Anne Talcott will be leading the Praise Team at the beginning of the service as well as directing the choir in the anthem, “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us.” We would like to invite you to stay and join us for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. CALVARY COMMUNITY:  This Sunday at Calvary we continue a four-week series “Back to the Basics” with Part 4, “How Can We Change Our Lives?” Genesis 32:22-32 - an incident from the life of Jacob illustrates the process God uses to change our lives. After this event Jacob was never the same again.

Calvary offers Sunday morning services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. A non-traditional service with progressive music and media, relational settings, multiple teachers, and opportunities for individual expression is offered at 6 p.m. Children’s programs run concurrently with all services.

UNITED LUTHERAN: Join us Sunday, March 7, for the traditional service at 8 a.m. and/ or the contemporary service at 10:30 a.m. Communion will be served at both services. This Sunday’s sermon title is “A Word of Concern.” Nursery care is available for children 6 months to 6 years old. On Wednesday nights we have a soup supper at 5:45 p.m. followed by a Lenten service at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Sunday School, youth activities and Bible studies are at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings. ST. PAUL’S UNITED METHODIST: St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will worship this Sunday at 10a.m. in the church sanctuary located at 910 East North Street.

This Sunday is the Third Sunday of Lent and Pastor Brandon Austin will be preaching a sermon entitled “Love and Learn” using Luke 13: 1-9. Lisa Brown will lead the younger children in children’s church and nursery care is provided during the worship services. At 9 a.m. there are classes for all ages.  

Wednesday nights throughout Lent we will have a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  At 6:30 we will have a Taizé worship service in the Sanctuary followed by classes for all ages. All are welcome to attend.
