UNITED LUTHERAN: Join us Sunday, May 9, for the traditional service at 8 a.m. and/ or the contemporary service at 10:30 a.m. This Sunday’s sermon title is “True Health.” Nursery care is available for children 6 months to 6 years old. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m. On Wednesday nights we have Divine Worship Service at 6:30 p.m. followed by Bible study. Everyone is welcome. PRESBYTERIAN: All are welcome this Sunday at Manteca Presbyterian Church at our 10 a.m. worship service. We will offer special thanks for moms on this Mother’s Day. Pastor Dave’s sermon will be “Ghost at the Door.” Last Sunday he preached about food so we are not sure what he is up to. But we are safe because Annie Talcott will lead our praise team in our opening music and our choir will present “On Eagle’s Wings.” Then we are all going over to the fellowship hall for wonderful refreshments. CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY: This Sunday, Pastor Scott Hoag will be sharing part 3 of his sermon series called “Rough Roads.” The title of his message is “The Rough Road of Inadequacy.” People everywhere are facing financial difficulties, family struggles and crushing disappointments. Learn how to ride through the difficulties with wisdom and confidence. Sunday service begins at 10 a.m. Our Wednesday night service called “The Blitz” is designed for adults who want to be encouraged during the week with a plan from God’s word. The service includes a life-building message, the Play of the Week for families and uplifting music that will build your faith. We also  offer: Royal Rangers & MPact Girl’s club for kids - Junior High and high school. It all starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 7:29 p.m. We are located at 17900 Comconex Road. FIRST BAPTIST: We welcome you to join us Sunday. Our Sundays begin with Sunday school at 9 a.m. There are classes for all ages. Pastor David Halla has an adult (teen and college-age too) class titled, “The World of Error.” We have child care for infants through 4 years old. Pastor Theo Pope will bring the message Sunday during our 10:30 a.m. Morning Worship service. “Christian History Made East” is a 13 week study at 5 p.m. on Sundays and is held in the Keenagers’ classroom.

“Saddle Ridge Ranch” is the theme of this year’s Vacation Bible School. There will be games, Bible stories, music, snacks, crafts, etc. This is taking place on Monday, June 21 through Friday, June 25 from 9 a.m. until noon. Children who are in 1st Grade through leaving 6th Grade are welcome to join us. There is no charge to attend. Children may be registered the day he or she attends Vacation Bible School. A family night is scheduled for Thursday, June 24, at 7 p.m. Families can see what their children did and learned during Vacation Bible School.

The College/Career Class meets at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays for a meal followed by Bible study. The adults are studying the book of Revelation on Thursdays at 7 p.m. Saturdays at 9 a.m. is when the men meet for prayer. On the 3rd Saturday of the month, the men meet at 7:30 a.m. for a Men’s Breakfast and Bible study. Call the church office for the locations. We welcome you to join us for our Bible studies and prayer time.

The food ministry is only on Sundays at 12:15 p.m. (after our morning service) and you must make an appointment. Please call the church office early in the week to schedule an appointment.
