CALVARY COMMUNITY: This Sunday at Calvary our message series continues our “Legends” series with Part 2, “The Secret of Greatness.” The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

FIRST BAPTIST: You are invited to join us Sunday. Our Sunday School begins at 9 a.m. and our Morning Worship Service is at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Theo Pope will bring the message during our service. We have child care for infants through 4 years old.

“Saddle Ridge Ranch” is the theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School and it will begin on Monday, June 21, and end on Friday, June 25 (8:50 a.m. to 12 noon.) VBS is for children who have completed 1st - 6th grade. Your child may register Monday, June 21, at 8:30 a.m. (or any other morning at 8:50 a.m. during VBS.) Saddle up for VBS 2010 where kids will be ridin’ the range and roundin’ up questions like, “What is God’s plan for me?” and “How can I be like Jesus?” At the end of the day, they’ll discover God’s word has all the answers. There is no charge for attendance and the children will enjoy games, snacks, Bible stories, music, and crafts. A Family Night is scheduled for Thursday, June 24 at 7 p.m. Families can see what their children did and learned during Vacation Bible School.

Mid-week Bible Studies are: The College/ Career Class on Tuesdays at 6 p.m., the Adults meet at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, then on Saturdays at 9 a.m. the men join for Prayer. On the 3rd Saturday of the month, the men get together at 7:30 a.m. for a Men’s Breakfast and Bible study. Call the church office for the locations.

The food ministry is only on Sundays at 12:15 p.m. (after our morning service) and you must make an appointment. Please call the church office early in the week to schedule an appointment.
