FIRST BAPTIST: The First Baptist Church at 715 E. North St., Manteca, is inviting the public to attend Sunday’s 10:30 morning worship service.

Pastor Theo Pope will deliver the message while Norm Hixon is scheduled to lead the music.

Children’s time will be under the direction of Joyce Bennett.

Sunday school begins at 9 o’clock, with classes available for children of all ages. Child care is available for infants through age 4.

Mid-week Bible studies include:

•The college / career class at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays.

•The Adult group meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursdays.

•The men join for prayer on each Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.

•On the third Saturday of the month, the men get together at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and Bible studies.

Information of the locations of these classes is available by calling the church at 209-823-1781.

The food ministry is available after the morning worship at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday. Those in need of this service must contact the church early in the week to make an appointment.

PRESBYTERIAN: All are welcome this Sunday at Manteca Presbyterian Church for the 10 a.m. worship service, even Ashton and Demi. Anne Talcott will lead our Praise Team in our opening songs. Come hear Pastor Wendy Warner’s sermon titled, “Who, Me? But...” Okay God...No More Excuses. Our service is followed by a time of refreshments. Come join the fun! CALVARY COMMUNITY: This Sunday at Calvary we continue our “Legends” series with Part 10, “Living an Extraordinary Life - Jabez.” The message features scriptures from 1 Chronicles 4:9-10. Interestingly enough, these are the only two verses in the word on Jabez. Please join us as we learn and are encouraged through God’s word.

Calvary offers three Sunday services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. with children’s programs at parallel times.

CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY
: This Sunday Pastor Scott Hoag will be continuing his sermon series called “Kingdom Parables.” The title of this week’s message is “Hidden Treasure.” Sunday service begins at 10 a.m. Cornerstone’s kid church, nursery, and preschool are available. ST. ANTHONY’S CATHOLIC: Registration for St. Anthony’s children’s Faith Formation Classes (CCD) started on July 6 and will end on August 31, no further registrations after this date. Children who have previously attended catechism classes at St. Anthony’s must re-register.
