ST. ANTHONY'S CATHOLIC: Have you been away from the Church for a while? Have you ever thought about returning? If so we would like to welcome you back to St. Anthony's. We have a special ministry for people who have been away from the Church. We would like to address your questions and make you feel at home with us once more. ST. ANTHONY'S SCHOOL: The second annual crab feed fund-raiser benefiting St. Anthony of Padua School in Manteca will be held Saturday, Jan. 29, from 5 p.m. until midnight. It will be held in the school gymnasium, 323 N. Fremont Ave. Featured in addition to dinner and dancing will be live and silent auctions. The marinated crab din- ner, which will cost $40 per person, will include salad, bread, homemade marinara and pesto pasta, and dessert. Wine will be served along with the dinner. FIRST CHRISTIAN REFORM: Through the seasons of the year and the seasons of life there is no book of the Bible more loved by the people of God than that old familiar songbook of the Old Testament, the Book of Psalms. It is a bookfilled with praise and thanksgiving. Join in singing and contemplating on the songbook of the ages using the same poetry of 3,000 years ago. Wednesday, Jan 12, at 7 p.m. at First Christian Reformed Church, 305 Boesch Dr., Ripon, $7 to raise money for youth group. Don and Fran's programs have been shown in some of the largest churches and auditoriums in North America; from Seattle Center in Washington State to the prestigious Harvard Club in Boston as well as universities, colleges and numerous schools and churches nationwide. PRESBYTERIAN: All are welcome this Sunday at Manteca Presbyterian Church for the I0 a.m. worship service, even Justin and Selina. Anne Talcott will lead our Praise Team in our opening song. Come hear Pastor Wendy Warner's sermon titled, "Accepting Our Parts." Only the good ones.. . right? Our service is followed by a time of refreshments. Come join the fun. CALVARY COMMUNITY: Happy New Year! Why not start the New Year out learning and being encouraged by God's word? This Sunday at Calvary the message "Does Anyone Have a Light" features verses from Matthew 41 2-25. Calvary offers three Sunday services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. with children's programs at parallel times. Easily accessible from any direction in the valley (from Interstate 5 or Highway 99, Lathrop Road exits), Calvary is located at 81 5 West Lathrop Road. CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY: We are now offering two services on Sunday mornings, 9 and l0:45 a.m. Both services will feature identical contemporay worship and an inspiring message. Pastor Scott Hoag will begin a new sermon series called "Warnings to the Church." Cornerstone Kid's church, nursery and preschool are available during both service times.
