Our Lady of Fatima Filipino American Prayer Group: The Our Lady of Fatima Filipino American Prayer Group invites you to their 17th annual May Festival. The festival is held in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the church of the same name, located at 505 Granger Avenue in Modesto. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, May 7 beginning with a procession in front of the church at 10:30 a.m. followed by a crowning of a statue of the Blessed Virgin with flowers and a mass at 11 a.m. A free lunch of Filipino food will follow in the church hall thereafter with raffles and entertainment.

Three worship services are planned, including one today at 6 p.m. and two on Sunday morning at 9 o’clock and 10:30.
The Easter services will also consist of inspiring music and video testimonies of people who have been impacted by Christianity.
The church will also have “Pray 4 Manteca,” which is a weekly prayer group that meets on Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. in Modular Room 401.
“Its duration is one hour but is also designed for those who may only be able to stay for 10 minutes. It gives people an opportunity to stop and call on God for the challenges they face in their respective areas of life and work,” according to church officials.
