PRESBYTERIAN: All are welcome this Sunday at Manteca Presbyterian Church for the 10 a.m. worship service even Mr. Clean. Anne Talcott will lead the Praise Team in our opening songs. CALVARY COMMUNITY: This Sunday at Calvary we continue the study on the book of Matthew with “Grace and God’s Kingdom” using scripture references from Matthew 20.
Please join us every Thursday to Pray 4 Manteca. This is a weekly prayer group open to anyone. It’s held each Thursday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in Modular Room 401. Its duration is one hour but is also designed for those who may only be able to stay for ten minutes. It gives people an opportunity to stop and call on God for the challenges they face in their respective areas of life and work.

PLACE OF REFUGE: Come join us this Sunday at 10 a.m. at 486 Button Avenue for a special bilingual service. International speaker Rudy Alvarez will be joining us from Costa Rica, and Marcelo Balbi will be leading worship. Service will be translated into both English and Spanish. Come join us for this exciting time of corporate worship and inspiration. We will still be offering nursery care and dynamic children’s programs for kids infant-6th grade. Tickets will be going on sale next Sunday, August 21 for the annual ladies’ “Heavenly Holiday Tea.” The cost will be $20 each. The Collision School of Leadership training will be starting in September; there is still space for college age men and women wanting to deepen their relationship with God and gain ministry experience.
