PRESBYTERIAN: All are welcome this Sunday at Manteca Presbyterian Church for the 10 a.m. worship service. Anne Talcott will lead the Praise Team and direct the choir in our opening songs. Come hear Pastor Dave Warner’s sermon titled, “How Big is Your Church ?” It’s alright…he won’t make you count everyone. Our service is followed by a time refreshments. Come join the fellowship. UNITED LUTHERAN: Join us Sunday, October 2, for the traditional service at 8 a.m. and/or the contemporary service at 10:30 a.m. Communion will be served at both services. This Sunday’s sermon title is “The Bond of Peace.” Nursery care is available for children 6 months to 6 years old. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m. On Wednesdays we have a Divine Communion Worship Service at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. CALVARY COMMUNITY: This Sunday at Calvary we continue the study on the book of Matthew with “Being Ready for Christ’s Return” using scripture references from Matthew 25:1-30.

Everyone is welcome to join us every Thursday to Pray 4 Manteca. This weekly prayer group open to anyone. It’s held each Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m. in Modular Room 401. Its duration is one hour but is also designed for those who may only be able to stay for ten minutes. It gives people an opportunity to stop and call on God for the challenges they face in their respective areas of life and work.

THE PLACE OF REFUGE:  We’re eagerly anticipating this Sunday at The Place of Refuge. We’ll see you at 486 Button Avenue at 10 a.m. to encounter God together during a powerful corporate worship service. Find your place in life and the Body of Christ as Pastor Mike continues teaching on the theme of “Finding Your Gift for Service.” Tickets will also be on sale for the Heavenly Holiday Tea. Ladies join us Nov. 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for this elegant candlelit event that will help support local and worldwide projects that benefit women and children. Tickets are only $20 each, and will sell out, so get yours this Sunday. This Wednesday evening is Family Night, beginning at 6:30 p.m. We have HonorBound Men’s Bible Study, Awana for children 2 years old to 6th grade, nursery care for children under 2 years old.
