NEW LIFE LATHROP: Come join New Life Lathrop this Sunday for a time of worship and fellowship. PRSBYTERIAN: All are welcome this Sunday at Manteca Presbyterian Church for the 10 a.m. worship service. Anne Talcott will lead the Praise Team and direct the choir in our opening songs. Come hear Pastor Dave Warner’s sermon titled, “The Simon Syndrome.” I haven’t heard of this syndrome before, I hope it’s not serious. Our service is followed by a time of refreshments. UNITED LUTHERAN: Join us Sunday, October 16, for the traditional service at 8 a.m. and/or the contemporary service at 10:30 a.m. Communion will be served at both services. This Sunday’s sermon title is The “C” Word. Nursery care is available for children 6 months to 6 years old. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m. On Wednesdays we have a Divine Communion Worship Service at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. CALVARY COMMUNITY
: This Sunday at Calvary we continue the study on the book of Matthew with “Preparing for Death” using scripture references from Matthew 26:1-16.

Everyone is welcome to join us every Thursday to Pray 4 Manteca. This weekly prayer group is open to anyone. It’s held each Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m. in Modular Room 401. Its duration is one hour but is also designed for those who may only be able to stay for ten minutes. It gives people an opportunity to stop and call on God for the challenges they face in their respective areas of life and work.

THE PLACE OF REFUGE: Join us at 486 Button Avenue this Sunday at 10 a.m. for a service like no other. Special guest speaker Calvin Davis will be sharing the powerful story of how God’s love and redemption changed his life. This is going to be too good to miss! After service we will be taking sign-ups for the November 20th chili cook-off and dessert bake-off get ready to make your best recipe and connect with new faces in the church. Fresh Wind Corporate Prayer takes place in the Prayer Center this Monday at 6 p.m.; join with us to pray for our nation, our city, and our families. Ladies meet us here on campus Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at HeBrews Café for Girlfriends Unlimited. Connect, belong, laugh, and learn at the ladies-only Bible study. We’re also looking forward to AWANA, Collide Network, HonorBound Men’s Bible study, and Spanish language leadership training classes this Wednesday evening at 6:30.
