UNITED LUTHERAN: Join us Sunday, June 28, for the traditional service at 8 a.m. and or the contemporary service at 10 a.m. This week’s sermon will be “Enter Elijah.” Nursery care is available for children 6 months to 6 years old. Wednesday nights we have a Divine Worship service at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. To learn more about the weekly church activities, including Bible studies, Mom’s Group, and Youth, call 823-1971. CALVARY COMMUNITY: This Sunday at Calvary we will continue our series “Imago Dei — In the Image of God” with Part 6, “We Are Loved.” This message based on Ephesians 3:14-21 and should encourage us in understanding God’s love for us and why his love is so important.

Calvary offers four Sunday services at 8:30, 9:45, and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. with children’s programs running at parallel times (6 p.. Pre-school and nursery only.) Sign language is offered at the 9:45 a.m. service at the front left side of the Worship Center.

PRESBYTERIAN: Please join Manteca Presbyterian Church this Sunday for Pastor Wendy Warner’s sermon “When Jesus Calls.” Music Minister Anne Talcott will be leading the Praise Team at the beginning of the service. The Praise Team will be leading us in special music. “Hope of the Nations.” We would like to invite you to stay and join us for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. On Thursday, July 2 come and meet an amazing group of students with Texas 4000. They are riding their bikes from Texas to Alaska all in the name of Cancer. No that is not a misprint they are really riding their bikes over 4,000 miles and we are excited that they have chosen Manteca as one of their stops. Want to know more about their adventure and why they do what they do...please join the team for a short presentation starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 2. Also be sure to celebrate the 4th of July with us on Friday, July 3. Come early to get a good spot in front of the church for the parade that starts at 10 a.m. and stay for lunch and the free concert at 2 p.m. that is put on by the Manteca Community Choir. ST. PAUL’S UNITED METHODIST:  St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will worship this Sunday at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary located at 910 E. North Street.  This Sunday church lay members, Ann Evans and Luan Bland, will be speaking on “Reflections on Annual Conference” sharing their experiences  as attendees to the California-Nevada Annual Conference last week.  

There will be children’s church available for the younger children and nursery care is provided in a well-equipped room during the worship services.  At 9:00 a.m. there are classes for all ages.
