The Ripon Garden Club is planning a field trip on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 9 a.m. at Wild Blooms Flower & Produce Farm, 22828 North Ripon Road, Ripon.

The monthly meeting follows at 10 a.m. at the American Legion hall, 206 Stockton Ave., Ripon.

The tour of Wild Blooms will be conducted by owner Bronwyn Escola.

She is originally from New Zealand.  You will hear her call her shears snips while sharing her passion of growing gorgeous flowers and heirloom tomatoes.

They offer farm fresh cut flowers including varieties such as Ranunculus, Amaranth, Zinnia, Moluccella Bells of Ireland, and sunflowers. Also available will be eight varieties of heirloom tomatoes and a selection of eggplant, peppers and herbs.

Their self service “farm stand” is open seven days a week for heirloom tomatoes.

Saturday morning a full service stand is available, including heirloom tomatoes, eggplants and flowers.

Bronwyn hopes to have plenty of her heirloom tomatoes available for the club visit.
