The Manteca Kiwanis free community Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 4, at 11 a.m. sharp at the Northgate Sports Complex in Manteca. Kids get a chance to collect candy filled plastic eggs and win prizes.

If you are looking for other Easter fun options in San Joaquin County the Color Fun Fest is only part of the celebration that’s taking place in Stockton on Easter Sunday, April 5.

Included is an Easter egg hunt for children 12 and under at the San Joaquin County Fair, from 4:30 to 5 p.m.

What is Color Fun Fest?

This is an event that combines a “Holi Festival” and the electric dance movement – for the first time – with a day and night glowing color 5K run or walk with music, entertainment, vendors and much more.

“As day transform into night and dust settles from our day color run, we power up the strongest black lights in the world to transition our day color run into a nighttime 5K color run festival called Color Fun Fest,” according to the organizers.

Festival tickets are $10.

Cost for the run can be done online at www.colorfunfest5k.com.

Proceeds will go to Just Care More, a non-profit organization aimed at providing underprivileged youngsters with an opportunity to experience fitness-related activities.

The fairgrounds are located at 1658 S. Airport Way, Stockton.
