Upon entering The Heavenly Spa in Modesto, clients may be surprised that the relaxing environment is actually a popular hotspot for locals.

“It’s a calming environment. We have a fountain in the background and even though it’s relaxing, it is not slow paced. People know that they can get in and out of here on time,” said Kristi Anthony who co-owns the spa with her husband David.

The Heavenly Spa is tucked back off of the main thoroughfare on Coffee Road which contributes to the spa’s ideal environment. With a wide variety of services, including facials, waxings and full body spa packages, the spa draws a large demographic of clients including a strong male base.

“More and more male clients are coming because they realize the benefits, especially ones who work out to stay in shape,” said Kristi. “Many women also purchase spa treatments for their husbands as gifts if they know he has been under stress for example.”

As a part of the wellness industry, The Heavenly Spa aims to make their clients not only feel happier but healthier as well. With a variety of services that can alleviate pain and decrease stress, playing a part in the industry is rewarding said Kristi.

“When we have someone come in and you can tell by the way that they are walking that their neck or their back is stiff and then when they walk out they can turn their head or move their arms more, you can see the difference. To have them see a positive reward so quickly is really rewarding,” said Kristi.

The Heavenly Spa is located at 817 Coffee Road Suite D in Modesto. To access the spa from Highway 99 North, take exit toward CA-132/Vernalis Central Modest, merge onto 6th Street, turn right onto G Street, take a slight left onto Burney Street and a right onto Scenic Drive. Then, turn left on Coffee Road and the destination is on the left.

The Heavenly Spa is open from noon to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
