As a staple of the downtown Modesto restaurant scene for years, Trisetti’s has played host to many locals’ Valentine’s Day experiences.

“Every year we have at least one proposal,” said Jessica Ybarra, floor manager.

With a loyal customer base that is attracted to the restaurant’s varied flavors, Valentine’s Day dinner at Trisetti’s has become a tradition for many. There will be live music on the patio featuring local artist Andrew Perez as well as a prix fixe menu set at $55 a person. The meal includes a choice of starter, main course and a shared ‘sweetheart’ dessert that features house made mini pastries. Guests can choose from several different main course options including a top sirloin, organic roast chicken, an Asian inspired pan seared mahi mahi or the vegetarian option of spaghetti squash ratatouille. 

“It’s a great atmosphere, it’s romantic. There is mood lighting and candles and I really believe we have the best menu in the downtown,” said Ybarra.

Trisetti’s has also recently added seating in its wine shop which features large windows, dim lighting and the sense of exclusivity as guests can enjoy a romantic dinner by candlelight nestled among racks of fine wine.
