A wide array of restaurants will be participating in the 17th Annual Gourmet Sampler, sponsored by the Manteca Historical Society and scheduled for Sunday, March 8, at the Senior Center.
Museum voluteers will be decorating food booths for restaurants such as Applebee’s, Kenneree Thai Cuisine, La Bodega Mexican Food, Canal Street Grille, Kelley Bros./Brickyard Oven Restaurant, Jade Garden and Guido’s Take-U-Bake pizza.
Adding to the variety will be New China Restaurant, Subway Sandwiches, Barnwood Restaurant, DeVinci’s Deli and Catering, Chinese Express at Food 4 Less, Save Mart and Safeway stores.
Desserts will be furnished by Main Street Cafe, Burgess Baking Co., Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, La Croissant Baking and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
Liquid refreshments will include wine from Delicato Family Vineyards and Miner Mart Liquors,  beer from Anheuser-Busch and Kelley Bros. Brewing Co., coffee brewed from Jesus Mountain Coffee beans, and water from Alhambra-Sierra Water.
Tickets, at $15 per person, are available at the museum, 600 W. Yosemite; German Glas Werks, Main Street Cafe, Guido’s Take-U-Bake pizza, or by calling ticket chairperson Phyllis Abram, 239-0744. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
