If the names and face of the second $100 Bulletin pumpkin winner looks familiar, you’re right.

Courtney Settle and her Dachshund Rat Terrier mix Khloe found the second pumpkin of the Manteca Bulletin Great Pumpkin Hunt. This was their third year when they found a pumpkin.

Courtney and Khloe found the pumpkin at 4:30 a.m. near St. Paul’s Methodist Church at 910 E. North Street.

“I don’t sleep,” she said about her early morning discovery.

The clues were:

*Peter, _ _ _ _ & Mary – Missing word Paul from the name of American folk-singing trio navigated Courtney straight to the St. Paul’s Methodist Church.

*To Alaska – “Once we arrived there, the clues started to make sense. The church is on North Street, if you want to go to Alaska, you have to go north,” the lucky winner explained.

*Marquee Event – there are marquees all around the church.

*Impromptu Backstop – “The place the pumpkin was looked at just like a backstop,” Courtney described the spot where the gourd was hiding.

Clues will appear in every Saturday Bulletin through the end of October. Each week $100 will go to who finds the golden pumpkin.
