Six others had 20 years with Doctors followed by three with 15 years.  Thirty-one received their service awards for 10 years and 23 had been on staff for five years.

Before the beginning of the awards ceremony, the hospital provided a quick afternoon buffet serving a variety of healthy finger foods.

Carmen Silva, chief operating officer and chief nursing officer, also took part in thanking employees for their years of service to the hospital.

Doctors Hospital opened its doors as Manteca Hospital in February of 1962 and is planning its fiftieth anniversary next year seeking to make contact with all the babies born that year – now 50 years old as well.
