Ambulance service donates van to pastor

The current economic downturn has several residents having tough times.
Manteca District Ambulance has recently been able to help out a little. The local ambulance company has removed a surplus vehicle from its fleet and found it a much needed and welcome home. Pastor Joe Macias from the Christian Worship Center  of Manteca has taken ownership of the 1991 Ford van so that he too can continue helping others in these tough economic times.

The van was used in the past by the district to shuttle patients to non emergency office visits. Recently the vehicle was removed from service. Manteca Ambulance had the vehicle safety checked, smog checked, and also repaired the air conditioning in preparation for the pastor prior to his taking ownership. The pastor was selected by Manteca Ambulances’ Fleet Supervisor Jonathon Mendoza.
