Keith Jackson, a 1980 Manteca High grad and member of Block M, is on a mission.

He is looking for all Block M Alumni who once attended Manteca High to gather when Manteca hosts East Union High at Guss Schmiedt Field for the Valley Oak League football finale on Friday night.

There will be a roped off area on the field near the south end zone for the alumni who must wear a letter jacket or sweater to get in. There will be folding chairs or you can just stand.

“I am hoping to get members from every decade,” Jackson noted. “I know of members from the 40s that have their Block M sweater and I hope they can come.”

The gathering has been blessed by Manteca High Principal Frank Gonzales, Athletic Director Dave Smith, and head varsity football coach Eric Reis.

Jackson lettered twice in football, twice in baseball, and once in soccer.
