Flying to Phoenix?

Come May you may not have to drive to Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland, or San Jose to catch a flight.

You’ll be able to travel just over eight miles in about 15 minutes to catch a flight out of Stockton Metro Airport and not have to pay for parking to boot.

Allegiant on Tuesday announced new non-stop, low-cost service between Stockton  and Phoenix via the Phoenix/Mesa Gateway Airport beginning May 15. The airline is offering promotional one-way fares for as low as $58. The seats are limited.

Allegiant began service at Stockton Metropolitan Airport in June 2006 with nonstop service to Las Vegas. The airline also offers seasonal flights to Honolulu out of Stockton.
