Road construction on Louise Avenue has turned Devonshire Avenue into a race track.

Manteca Councilwoman Debby Moorhead said there has been a significant uptick in traffic trying to get around traffic delays on Louise Avenue at Union Road.

She was first alerted to the problem by her grandson who is concerned about his safety and other kids in the neighborhood.
