Firefighter retires after 23 years

William “Bill” Todd completed his final shift Wednesday as a City of Manteca firefighter.

Todd served the City of Manteca for 23 years and two months.

His service was recognized during Tuesday’s Manteca City Council meeting.

Also honored at the meeting was Mark Hall who is retiring after 10 years and four months as Manteca’s Parks and Recreation Director. He is being replaced by Kevin Fant who is the current parks/landscape operations manager for the city.
