Retired educator Sally Hale, retired administrator Gary Dei Rossi, and LearningQuest director Karen Williams were presented with the first annual Great Valley Bookfest Literacy Hero Awards last Friday.

The presentations were made by Delta College President Kathy Hart during a reception attended by 140 people at the home of Toni Raymus and Andrew Sephos.

Raymus is the founder of the bookfest that had its third run last weekend at The Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley.
