It’s pretty disgusting most days when players arrive to practice at the refurnished Lincoln Park baseball field.

That’s because people regularly use the dugouts as a toilet. The best guess are the homeless who seek shelter at night in the area.

Councilman Vince Hernandez asked during Tuesday’s City Council meeting that Manteca park crews make a point of hosing down the dugouts every day if necessary.
