Who said read men don’t wear pink?

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the rank and file of the Manteca Fire Department including Fire Chief Kirk Waters are wearing pink T-shirts promoting the public awareness campaign.

Not only did Waters wear his pink T-shirt to Tuesday’s Manteca City Council meeting but so did Police Chief Nick Obligacion,  Parks and Recreation Director Mark Hall, Public Works Director Mark Houghton, and Personnel Services Director Joe Kriskovich.

“Real men wear pink, clearly,” noted City Manager Karen McLaughlin.
