Now were delivering free pizza to homeless

In the now we’ve seen everything department: A reader was driving down Moffat Boulevard this week when they noticed a pizza delivery vehicle pull up to a group of homeless individuals and hand them pizzas. It turns out someone had passed them and decided it would be a nice gesture to pay for pizza to have it delivered.

And we are wondering why homeless flock to Manteca.

Perhaps what are needed are signs posted around Manteca similar to ones in Fort Lauderdale that read “Panhandling: Don’t Contribute to the Problem” and have a hand holding a cup that change is being dropped into that has the universal sign for “no” featuring a circle with a slash through it. The signs also provide info about a website where people can direct donations to help the homeless situation in that community.
