The community is invited to join the 10th annual Ripon Community National Day of Prayer Service on Thursday, May 7, at 7 p.m. hosted by the First Christian Reformed Church, 305 Boesch Drive, Ripon.

Area leaders from the South San Joaquin Irrigation District, Ripon Police, Ripon Fire, and Bethany Home will speak about the needs of our community regarding the California drought, emergency services and our senior citizens and families.  Local pastors will be leading in prayer for these concerns and also for the city, state and nation.  The men’s choral group, Voices for the King, will lead in music throughout the service. Childcare for infants and toddlers will be available and refreshments will be served following the service.

“Lord, Hear Our Cry” is the theme for our nation’s 64th observance where communities from coast to coast will join in a day of prayer for our country.  All are invited to this community-wide gathering of prayer and praise.  For additional information, contact the church office, 599.3225.
