Styles for Less opening outlet in Orchard Valley center

The Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley could have another clothing store open in time for Christmas shopping.

Styles for Less started work Thursday on an outlet store. Typically infill work takes three to five weeks meaning the store could be open by December if not earlier.

Poag & McEwen representatives are meeting with potential tenants almost on a daily basis. At least one nationally known clothing retailer is seriously negotiating to locate at the complex at the 120 Bypass and Union Road.

The big draw of course, is the traffic generated by the 2.5 million annual visitors to Bass Pro.

Outlets already in place include Vans, Banana Republic, and Guess.

Styles for Less already has a store in Manteca in the Mission Ridge Shopping Center on South Main Street near the Burlington Coat Factory. It isn’t clear whether the outlet store opening will change the status of that location.

Styles for Less also has stores in Modesto at McHenry Village and the Vintage Faire Mall, Tracy at West  Valley Mall, and Stockton at Park West.
