What’s good for the goose should be good for the gander.

That’s the point citizen Richard Hanson was trying to make to the Manteca City Council on Tuesday,

It seems the makeover of the City Council chambers to make it handicapped accessible had a few loose ends to tidy up including wires hanging from a walkway ceiling outside the chambers.

While city official assured Hansen they would be taken care of, they missed the point.

More than one local business owner has been frustrated by being essentially red tagged when small items such as landscaping or other seemingly inconsequential items aren’t completed before they are given approval to open to the public. One would think dangling wires would fall into that category.
