Who is the best mail carrier in Manteca?

If someone needs a roofer, who is the best as far as you’re concerned?

Who has the best Christmas tree in Manteca and which business has the cleanest restrooms?

You can nominate someone to answer those questions as well as up to 99 categories that range from the best taco to the best church choir as part of the sixth annual Manteca Convention & Visitors Bureau’s Best of Manteca. Those nominated – businesses or individuals – must be within the 95336 or 95337 ZIP codes.

All nominations are being down on-line this year by going to either www.visitmanteca or www.emanteca and click on the “Best of Manteca” button.

Nominations close March 1.

Voting on the top three nominations in each of the 99 categories will start March 15 and end April 18.

The awards show and celebration will take place on Thursday, May 6, at a rural Manteca Victorian garden setting.

Tickets are $30 or four for $100.

Tickets are available at the Manteca Visitors Center, 1422 Grove Avenue, in The Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For information call 823-7229.  

The benefits the winners will receive include marketing through the local media and at the event, a profile in over 15,000 CVB visitors’ guides, a plaque for their business and a window sticker, and a website advertisement on the CVB page for one year.
