The Ripon Unified school board meeting will take place Monday in the Ripon High School library.
The open session is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
Prior to that, a board workshop on the Agriculture Program is also scheduled on campus at 5 o’clock, with a closed session to follow.
RHS is located at 301 N. Acacia Ave.
Trustees usually conduct their regular monthly sessions in the Council Chamber. The change of venue for RUSD was that of the Planning Commission scheduled to meet that evening at Ripon City Hall.

uThe board could adopt Positive Prevention Plus to the sexual health curriculum for seventh- through ninth- grade students if the material meets state requirements.
uKathy Coleman, Director of Curriculum & Categorical Programs, will present an overview of the Local Control Accountability Plan and changes for the three-year plan. LCAP is a critical part of the new Local Control Funding Formula necessary for public education.
uTrustees will have information available on the state’s Agricultural Career Technical Education Incentive Grant for the upcoming school year. This additional $22,792 is a matching grant and will help fund the RHS Agricultural programs.
uThey’ll also look to sign an agreement between the district and the Escalon Unified School District for bus services.
uMemorandum of Understanding pacts are in order for RUSD and Friends of California Virtual Education for California Connections Academy @ Ripon Charter School, San Joaquin County Office of Education’s Artists-in-Schools for Colony Oak Elementary School, SJCOE’s Next Generation Science Standards Professional Development, and SJCOE’s Math Department Professional Development.
uThe board will hear the Attendance Summary Report showing the attendance rate per student by month, spanning the past three years.
